We know, we know, Christmas is over, yadda, yadda.
That doesn’t mean we can’t take one more look back at a fun Christmas-themed event that’s fairly new to our area.
This photo feature takes a look at the Santa Claus Special, one of the Christmas train excursions available this past year from the Woodstown Central Railroad.
“A lot of families have been coming up to us saying they will be starting their traditions here since this is our first full year as a large passenger operation,” said Ryan Costello, assistant director of passenger operations at Woodstown Central Railroad.
During the weeks leading up to Christmas, the Santa Claus Special ran between Woodstown and Swedesboro, with Kris Kringle himself on board to visit and take photos with the families on the train.
But don’t fret if you missed the opportunity this Christmas, Santa is sure to be back next year, and in the meantime, join them for one of their many other excursions held throughout the year.
