Our new print issue will feature “Goodbye Summer, Hello School!” content about the end of the summer season and gearing up for back to school in our communities.
For that reason, we’ve decided to put a strong focus on our Community Spotlight category of “Education.” Schools are truly the backbone of so many communities. So without further ado, let’s shine a light on our teachers, administrators, support staff and parent volunteers who selflessly dedicate themselves to our kids!
Christopher was nominated by Woodbury Heights Elementary School.
“Our School Principal, Christopher Rodia, is the school Superintendent. He has been involved with our school for about 10 years with the last 4 as Principal. Everyday he greets the students at arrival and knows every student’s name. He attends all of the school functions with his own family and supports the town at all events. Throughout the years he has been known to dress up for certain occasions to be sure the kids smile and enjoy coming to school. Over the Christmas holiday he dressed as ELF ON THE SHELF and went on the roof (with a snow machine) to wave to the students!! Most importantly, our academic scores have steadily increased over his tenure as well.”
Thank you Principal Rodia!
