Press Release: Photos and Info Provided by Woodbury’s FAF Coalition
The LOT 323 season kicked off in vibrant style on Friday, May 16, as the Woodbury community gathered to celebrate the grand opening of this year’s much-anticipated creative placemaking series.
Not even a little rain could dampen the spirit—guests showed up with umbrellas, ponchos, and big smiles, proving once again that LOT 323 is rain-or-shine magic.
The evening buzzed with energy as live music filled the air, interactive art stations came to life, and colorful murals added a bold backdrop. Food trucks and local vendors served up crowd-pleasers, while kids and families splashed through puddles, created chalk masterpieces, and danced in the drizzle.
This year’s opener included heartfelt remarks from The FAF Coalition underscoring LOT 323’s mission to offer free, inclusive, and community-driven programming. Guests were introduced to new visual art installations, and our “YOU ARE WELCOME HERE” yard signs made their season debut—a powerful symbol of belonging in the heart of downtown.
A huge thank you to our dedicated volunteers, resilient attendees, generous sponsors, and creative collaborators who made opening night a success despite the weather. If the grand opening is any indication, the 2025 season is going to be unforgettable.
Mark your calendars—LOT 323 Fridays are just getting started!
