CC’s Candy Factory in Pennsville is Poppin’ Up Everywhere

It’s seems Carol Clour’s CC’s Candy Factory is everywhere these days. Her freeze-dried candy business has gone viral and people just can’t get enough.

Her shop in Pennsville was featured Thursday on Fox 29’s Kelly Drives with Bob Kelly (watch the segment here) and now she’s gearing up for the busy Easter season.

In connection with her appearance on the show, Clour is offering a special discount code for her online customers on her website, ccscandyfactory.com. If you enter kellydrives29 at checkout, you’ll receive a 29 percent off your order.

Since first finding success with freeze-dried candy, Clour has now branched out, filling her shop with all kinds of sweet treats.

She even uses her shop as a co-op of sorts, where she showcases items from other area entrepreneurs. In her store you’ll find everything from other sweet treats to locally-made crafts from area vendors.

On Sunday, she’s taking that concept further, in a pop-up event at her property with an Easter theme. The event is scheduled to take place at her shop, at 164 N. Broadway in Pennsville, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and will feature over a dozen local vendors.

This story has been updated due to the event being moved to the scheduled rain date of Sunday, April 13. It was originally scheduled for Saturday, but the poor weather forecast forced the move. Check their Facebook page for any further updates to the schedule.
