Glassboro Announces “Golden Tuesdays” with Free Parking and Exclusive Discounts for Senior Residents

Glassboro, NJ: Golden Tuesdays is a new program that offers complimentary parking and exclusive discounts from participating businesses throughout the Borough. This two-part program is specifically designed to encourage Glassboro senior residents aged 65 and older to explore the beauty of Town Square and enjoy the many amenities available throughout the community.

Complimentary parking will be available in all Borough Lots, Rowan Blvd., & East High Street.

Starting Monday, July 7th residents can pick up their parking passes and discount cards at the Code Office located at 10 S. Poplar Street from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Please bring your NJ driver’s license and your vehicle registration with you.

Additional Information

This program has been approved for residents aged 65 and over.

Each individual is eligible to receive a maximum of two parking permits per vehicle, provided that the vehicles are registered to the same household.

Parking permit privileges are NOT interchangeable.

The parking permit never allows for overnight parking.

Permits must be placed in the front mirror of the vehicle, if there is no visible permit, free parking will not be honored, and the vehicle might receive a warning/ticket.

Vehicles must be parked in a legal parking spot. Vehicles parked by hydrants or in bus stops, no parking zones or commercial vehicle loading zones, etc. will be ticketed.
